Mary and clan hightail it to Muskegon, Michigan.

It’s there that Mary’s mother dies in 1884 at the age of 80.

In the meantime, two more England siblings emigrate to the States. Charlotte, now in her late twenties and married to John Noonan, comes over in 1884. She resides briefly in Michigan where she has her third child, Daisy, but soon relocates to Alabama, where she has three more children. She dies in Birmingham, Alabama in 1928.

Dick England comes over in 1885, makes his way to Muskegon, and marries a Dutch women, Louisa Flesher, in 1889.
